A new standard of hosted student accommodation is coming to New Zealand with the launch of New Zealand Homestay at the ISANA NZ Conference 2023.
New Zealand Homestay (NZH) is implementing the best practices, technology and expertise developed by the Australian Homestay Network (est. 2007) to deliver properly-managed hosted accommodation and support to international students studying in Aotearoa .
NZH is launching in key locations on the North and South Islands to recruit, screen and train caring hosts who will offer a safe, welcoming and culturally enriching home for visiting students.
This year’s ISANA NZ Conference will host around 160 delegates including government officials, educators, programme managers, advisors, NGOs and students.
Executive Director for New Zealand Homestay, David Bycroft, will be a keynote speaker on Day 1 where he will talk about new growth and sustainability strategies for international education stakeholders.
NZH CEO, Julie Manche, will also attend the Conference to introduce the NZH brand to delegates.
